This/that - Poem

"Credits - Pinterest" Eyes Peering through unimaginable distances But settling for that one destination You don't know which one Where eyes could shut down And feel And still see Sometimes it's better just to elope From all the bad moments Even the good ones too To take that one single minute To relax Or even a lifetime to do so Walking Even running and panting too What's the worth of speeding up? And rushing and striving? What's the worth of this breathlessness you ask? Climbing up steep mountains? Or in a much non-metaphorical sense Are all your maneuvers worthy enough You ask? I'm unaware too, We all are But if not restlessness? Who's fine with just resting? Starting at the same place Spending that exclusive lifetime Dying there too Living your whole life restricted Or in a much non-metaphorical sense That being your only landing place Are you even living? Destiny Constantly showing you terminals Making you believe That's where you're destin...

Nothing but a Human - poetry

courtesy - Pinterest  I could be as fair and pastel as white, Or I could be darker than the darkest black, I could be of any tint and tone in between, Even so under the same sky I lie, feeling the wind similarly against my skin I could weigh just perfect,  Or I could be looking like the models on the coverpage of a fashion magazine,  I could be skinny, obese, or simply anorexic, I could be your idol, or a subject for you to brutalize, But when I look in the mirror,  I see the most beautiful person in the world I could be preaching seven different gods, Or I could be an atheist,  I could follow my own norms or consider whichever ethics, I could be someone believing simply in the energy I could be minted and filthy rich,  I could even starve for a meal, And when the nights are cold or even humid,  Just like everyone else I dream, dream of achieving my dreams I could be straight, gay, bisexual, transgender,  I could be of any sexuality, Convivialy, I...

Living - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest Just when you think it's getting better, Another trouble comes up, But like the previous ones, You'll still hold all your pieces together, You'll sigh, but won't let go for sure, You're aware, That you're capable of overcoming almost everything that comes your way, So you just walk ahead, You fight for it, And just when you think it's getting better, Something else hits up, But trust me, There will come a day, you won't sigh at all, won't be afraid to fall, you'll get used to it, Bravo! Now that you know the pattern, You'll get back up, deal with it and proudly say, You're living your best life ~Sasa

Keep going - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest "Do you prefer throughout your life, Being a good person?" I'd prefer just living, Letting it go like it's supposed to be, all by its own, Just walking, and in the mid way, Getting things done, Losing some battles and winning some, Reasoning my foes, Being humble to my good ones, Loving with my whole heart, Getting mad when I really don't feel fine, Being as interactive as I can, Expressing honesty my whole life, Because all this while I learnt, Being good keeps us constant Living keeps us going ~Sasa

Mornings - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest   Perfect light falling on my house plants, It's 6am, of a summer morning, The light isn't as dim as the dawn of a perfect winter day, Beautiful still Each leaf of the money-plant is a different shade of green, They don't resemble each other at all, And look so dissimilar, But when it's afternoon, I'll know again, come back to my senses, To realize that every leaf is the same, So did the light fool me? Or my eyes? I'll never know But I know one thing for sure, The gentle cold wind I feel every morning, Be it of any season, Melts my heart, helps my soul to get up, And breathe I assume everyone does that, No wonder these mornings are so soothing, While everyone's just breathing, And not chattering, laughing, wailing or hurting, Maybe that's why mornings are always this fresh and clean, Of ambience loaded with pure optimism and goodwill ~Sasa

Size whatever - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest Things take time, She consoled herself looking at the mirror, Hating her own body, She decided to be thinner Each day, she starved, Not giving up on her will, But unwilling she gave up, Gave up on all her favorite meals Dreaming about the clothes she would easily pull off soon, She starved more, Imagining all the backgrounds for her perfect IG Picture, she thought, How she's going to make everyone fall for her Avoiding social meetups, To get a hold on her appetite, Keeping herself away from her friends, And amaze them when she's fit and fine 2 months later, Size L to S, She's got that perfect figure, Can't flaunt it as she's no more her old self Getting at a better place, She realized nothing changed, She still finds peace in the crowd, Who loved her when she was a size L ~Sasa

Only If - Love Poetry

Image
If your plan is to stay, To hold hands, Make impromptu outdoor plans, To cook food together, Comfort me with your hugs forever, To laugh with me, cry with me, Insanely sing out loud on the streets, To speak all night long, Hype about how finely we just get along, To make a lot of promises, Spoil me with your kisses, To let me take care of you, Stand strong with you, pamper you, To let me give you my everything, If that's what your plan is, just count me in. ~ Sasa
