Limits


Not going to places,

unaware of the fact that 

moving far away

to unimaginable distances,

swiftly giving up on 

all the chases,

yearning for the most nonchalant sigh,

learning where the bliss lies,

rejuvenating symphony,

makes one realise,

the limitations were never justified

Who's your "Human" book?

I was cleaning my book shelf last night and I came across this notebook,  seemed unfamiliar, but familiar, maybe because it was old. It was my elder cousin sister's,  I saw her name on the index page, and it was dated back in 2008. I must've been 7 years old then, so I started flipping the pages over to see if I find any surprises, turns out the book didn't disappoint me. I mean what's better than rediscovering things kept in a book decades ago? It was filled with memories, the "good" ones. Maybe that's what we crave for everytime we want to make ourselves feel better. Coming back to the notebook, it was so pretty, with all the chocolate wrappers preserved, wrappers of the chocolates which don't even exist anymore, the wowies, milk treats, perks, bytes and all of those, I was just so overwhelmed by the sight of them. Journey from a non-reader to reader

But it was always that my friends here are having a discussion about how the  Famous five and Hardy boys moves them and how John Green and Paulo Coelho makes them feel in 9th and 10th grade and I'm here like, "What the hell?" Holding my Peppa pig picture book because it's cute and also Geronimo Stilton because, I never really knew why, anyway.  I'm a pathetic speaker too. But hello! I'm also the CEO of making up stories whenever I'm interrogated by my parents, nevermind. I just don't know how to speak, the moment I see a bunch of people, who are all eyes and ears at me, I'm numb.
