NaPoWriMo Day- 5

Image
The gushing breeze pacifies me Scares me, At times tells me To look up in the sky and then deep down the sea Queries any other space where I'd rather be, We have this bond, We converse, solely without people around, I question my entire existence, Like always, it swiftly brings me back to the same place, Where it goes I follow, When my senses hit me, I'm all alone ~ Sasa

NaPoWriMo Day- 4 (Prompt Poetry)

Image
  1. Talk to the kid who is sitting aloof in the playground  2. She will tell you her dreams and you give her the strength  and a hope that a day will soon come 3. And you tell her that her life which has just begun  has much more meaning to it 4. When she rants about her worries,  you tell her it will be fine 5. As it takes nothing but a smile to comfort her,  so you stay there and just smile ~ Sasa

NaPoWriMo Day-2

Image
Far across the length of sight, Lies the multivagant sense of fright, Intoxicated, rejuvenated, The vernality musitated Afraid of being defunct  For when the end sets about, With trumpets and feasts And the triumph rains  From the multiscious heavens, The seasons befriend  The soil, the soul of the place, Yet far away from the human race, To kiddle the chrysography-like glisk  That agatewards in the tranquil mist.  ~ Sasa

NaPoWriMo Day-1

Part of you is at war with your own vehemence, And another one lies in the backyard breathless, Conflicting with thy own self, Contemplating which side to sway, When it's too late to realise  Both of it seems evenly unreal You come to a supposition To let the surrounding play, Let you get your way But it is the spiral that never ends For all things said and done, Still seeking out for the fire that begun All the matters of vigilant significance,  To find out it's the thoughts that come and stay  And make a home inside the head ~ Sasa For those who don't know what NaPoWriMo is, it's National Poetry Writing Month. This month is April for every year and for 30 days straight, new poem is to be written. You needn't worry about writer's block either, because you get prompts for writing your poem everyday on the website: www.napowrimo.net.  I know I'm a little late for the first day but finally I came up with the decision to restart this blog page. So many things h...

This/that - Poem

Image
"Credits - Pinterest" Eyes Peering through unimaginable distances But settling for that one destination You don't know which one Where eyes could shut down And feel And still see Sometimes it's better just to elope From all the bad moments Even the good ones too To take that one single minute To relax Or even a lifetime to do so Walking Even running and panting too What's the worth of speeding up? And rushing and striving? What's the worth of this breathlessness you ask? Climbing up steep mountains? Or in a much non-metaphorical sense Are all your maneuvers worthy enough You ask? I'm unaware too, We all are But if not restlessness? Who's fine with just resting? Starting at the same place Spending that exclusive lifetime Dying there too Living your whole life restricted Or in a much non-metaphorical sense That being your only landing place Are you even living? Destiny Constantly showing you terminals Making you believe That's where you're destin...

Perfect - Poetry

Image
Courtesy : Pintrest When your day starts just right, Yet you cry yourself to sleep and you know that's okay, So you get up with the same bliss next morning, That's what perfect means to me When it's all a mess, And you're stressing a lot, it's not getting better, But that one cup of coffee, Perfectly holds you altogether When you look like the finest piece of art, And everyday, that's what the mirror tells you, But when you step out and see people stare, You just don't care 'cause you know you're perfect When things are falling apart, You know you've mistaken a lot, You've got your ups and downs and you still keep going on, Because you believe in yourself You know what perfect means?  Falling, still learning and growing,  Perfect means having flaws, knowing it and mending them,  Perfect means hustling, to be the best version of yourself  ~Sasa

Living - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest Just when you think it's getting better, Another trouble comes up, But like the previous ones, You'll still hold all your pieces together, You'll sigh, but won't let go for sure, You're aware, That you're capable of overcoming almost everything that comes your way, So you just walk ahead, You fight for it, And just when you think it's getting better, Something else hits up, But trust me, There will come a day, you won't sigh at all, won't be afraid to fall, you'll get used to it, Bravo! Now that you know the pattern, You'll get back up, deal with it and proudly say, You're living your best life ~Sasa

Keep going - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest "Do you prefer throughout your life, Being a good person?" I'd prefer just living, Letting it go like it's supposed to be, all by its own, Just walking, and in the mid way, Getting things done, Losing some battles and winning some, Reasoning my foes, Being humble to my good ones, Loving with my whole heart, Getting mad when I really don't feel fine, Being as interactive as I can, Expressing honesty my whole life, Because all this while I learnt, Being good keeps us constant Living keeps us going ~Sasa

Thank you - Poetry

Courtesy - Pintrest To whoever that's crossed paths with me,  Has been good to me or my enemy, Has taken me to places and helped me get out of my mess or put me into one, Has held on to me when it was direful or left me all alone, Has made me grin everytime or left me crying on my own, Has been constantly telling me I'm inevitably strong or has looked down on me and let me down, Has been by my side my whole life or even for a single moment, Has stood up for me and said things for me or said things even behind my back, If we've ever crossed paths, thank you for being a part of me, thank you for helping me grow ~Sasa

Mornings - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest   Perfect light falling on my house plants, It's 6am, of a summer morning, The light isn't as dim as the dawn of a perfect winter day, Beautiful still Each leaf of the money-plant is a different shade of green, They don't resemble each other at all, And look so dissimilar, But when it's afternoon, I'll know again, come back to my senses, To realize that every leaf is the same, So did the light fool me? Or my eyes? I'll never know But I know one thing for sure, The gentle cold wind I feel every morning, Be it of any season, Melts my heart, helps my soul to get up, And breathe I assume everyone does that, No wonder these mornings are so soothing, While everyone's just breathing, And not chattering, laughing, wailing or hurting, Maybe that's why mornings are always this fresh and clean, Of ambience loaded with pure optimism and goodwill ~Sasa

Size whatever - Poetry

Image
Courtesy - Pintrest Things take time, She consoled herself looking at the mirror, Hating her own body, She decided to be thinner Each day, she starved, Not giving up on her will, But unwilling she gave up, Gave up on all her favorite meals Dreaming about the clothes she would easily pull off soon, She starved more, Imagining all the backgrounds for her perfect IG Picture, she thought, How she's going to make everyone fall for her Avoiding social meetups, To get a hold on her appetite, Keeping herself away from her friends, And amaze them when she's fit and fine 2 months later, Size L to S, She's got that perfect figure, Can't flaunt it as she's no more her old self Getting at a better place, She realized nothing changed, She still finds peace in the crowd, Who loved her when she was a size L ~Sasa

Only If - Love Poetry

Image
If your plan is to stay, To hold hands, Make impromptu outdoor plans, To cook food together, Comfort me with your hugs forever, To laugh with me, cry with me, Insanely sing out loud on the streets, To speak all night long, Hype about how finely we just get along, To make a lot of promises, Spoil me with your kisses, To let me take care of you, Stand strong with you, pamper you, To let me give you my everything, If that's what your plan is, just count me in. ~ Sasa

Courtesy - Pintrest   I just realized, that we humans, Having this ability to speak, Vocalize and reason, Have views, perspectives, Biased, unbiased I realized, we all speak, Some speak with soft pleasing words, with love, Some speak out of anger, some in pain, Some speak with silence, Some with their actions, some reacting I realized, all of us, Show love, misery, tenderness, curiosity, excitement and what not, Everyone feels, And out of these feelings that they show, We pick We pick, what suits us, We listen and see, take in what we always tend to assume, To conclude, we all speak, Not the same language, yet we all speak alike. ~ Sasa
